Full-Stack Engineer (Typescript)

We're looking for Full Stack Engineers with a strong TypeScript foundation who enjoy building software, solving technical problems and taking ownership of what they deliver.

You'll work in small, multidisciplinary teams on applications for our clients and our own products. Depending on your experience, you'll own individual features, drive technical decisions or help lead projects from architecture through delivery.

What you'll do

• Design, build and deploy scalable full-stack applications using TypeScript, React and Node.js.

• Translate complex requirements into practical technical solutions, working closely with AI/ML engineers, product managers and client stakeholders.

• Take ownership of software quality through code reviews, testing, documentation and architectural decisions.

• Build and maintain APIs, integrations and data-intensive applications.

• Automate development, testing and deployment through CI/CD and engineering tooling.

• Monitor, maintain and improve production systems, including performance fixing and incident resolution.

• Share knowledge, mentor colleagues and contribute to the technical direction of projects.

• Explore new technologies and contribute to improving how we build software.
  

How we build software

• We believe great software comes from strong engineering fundamentals, sound technical judgement and the right tools.

• AI coding agents are part of our everyday workflow. We use them to explore solutions, implement features, write tests and improve code quality. Engineers remain responsible for the architecture, decisions and quality of everything that ships.

• We continuously experiment with new tools and approaches, sharing what works across our teams. This includes improving our development tooling, automation and practices to make engineers more effective.

• We're interested in engineers who understand where AI tools add value, where they fall short and how to use them responsibly.

What you bring

• 5+ years of professional full-stack development experience, with strong hands-on TypeScript, React and Node.js.

• Experience building APIs with NestJS or a comparable backend framework.

• Solid knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL, including data modelling, schema design and performance.

• Experience deploying applications to Azure, AWS or GCP using CI/CD, Docker and related tooling. Preferably experience with Terraform.

• Practical experience with AI coding agents on real codebases and a good understanding of their strengths and limitations.

• Strong problem-solving skills, technical judgement and attention to software quality.

• Native-level Dutch and fluent English, written and spoken. French is a plus.

• A BSc/MSc in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Technical leadership experience, including architecture, mentoring or leading project teams.

• Knowing the “tanstack” inside out.

• Tailwind and component libraries such as shadcn/ui.

• NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.

• Monorepo tooling such as moon or Turborepo.

• Kubernetes and cloud-native architecture.

• Experience building AI-powered applications, agents or agentic workflows using Mastra, Vercel AI SDK or LangGraph.

• Familiarity with MCP, LLM evaluation, observability or MLOps.

• React Native or other mobile development experience.

• Experience in startups, agencies or consultancy.

• Open-source contributions or involvement in the tech community.
